In November 1998, eleven years ago, I published my first edition of the Family Grapevine in the Mid Sussex area and I am also proud to announce that the Brighton & Hove Family Grapevine has recently been launched. The Family Grapevine is a carefully researched source of useful information and has been well respected and widely used by local people, families moving into a new area, health visitors, doctors, the police, hospitals, local councils, social services, grandparents and many others from the very beginning.

I moved around a great deal when my children were young and I hope that the information contained in my directories will make the lives of my readers easier to make new friends and interests and find good quality childcare, schools, and activities for your children. Wherever possible I try to list local charities and search for information that will help all families whatever their circumstances.

 The listings are FREE for all sports and dance clubs, support groups, toddler activities, school and anything that is vital to a family directory. The Family Grapevine is an effective and economic way to advertise. The Family Grapevine is distributed at all local libraries, sports centres, medical centres with the help of local health visitors, estate agents and lots of other places too! Each issue has attracted more free line entries and advertisers than the last and the repeat advert rate remains consistently high.
